Poster Analysis 1

 

The Primary target audience for this poster would be those aged roughly 13 and over/ family targeted as the cover portrays no graphical images and shows a very familial setting depicting a usually quite violent creature in a peaceful setting up the documentary to have a more peaceful tone and perhaps to not be as violent as a lot  of similar documentaries can be so having a cover like this may promote that ideal. 

However, a general second target audience could just be anyone that has an interest in dinosaurs or/ and people who may like nature documentaries. 

From the cover as well as this, the potential audience from immediately looking at the poster can garner what the documentary is about. 

The text is simple and bold which therefore makes it clear and easy to read the poster and the title of the documentary. As someone may read the poster, they’ll want to know where they can watch this so by not having the logo at the top, naturally the eyes of the observer will wander across the poster to also elevate more interest.
